Her commitment to showing up, her positive attitude, and her steady progress in strength inspire us all. ๐ช๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น ๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐? ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฎ๐ฌ? ๐ฌ My journey with MVW began in early January of 2025, so it has only been 2 months. I had been doing home workouts and lots of outdoor activity, but I wanted to add strength training. I am so grateful that MVW was an option when I was looking. As I think about it, my initial inspiration was probably other women, especially those older than me who stay active and healthy. ๐ ๐น ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎโ๐ซ๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐จ๐? ๐ฌ One of my first workouts had me doing scap pull ups, but all I could do was dead hang from the bar. Thatโs what I did for 6 weeks, trying to increase the time I could hang. Now I am doing assisted pull ups, so I am actually making it up to the bar. I still have a long way to go, but I feel stronger.๐ฅ๐ช ๐น ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐? ๐ฌ MVW is a supportive community where you can feel safe, whether you are trying new exercises, dealing with a bad day, or struggling to get through a tough workout. Everyone is very friendly and the energy is positive. For many people the most difficult part might be just getting into the gym for the first time. Julie and her team make it easy to try new things. ๐ซ ๐น ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง? ๐ฌIt is just fun! I love the birthday burpees, having a laugh with Julie and Lynette, meeting new people, and pushing myself in a space where people are paying attention just enough to help me out, but they donโt judge. I donโt feel like there is such a thing as failure in MVW. ๐ ๐น Is there anything else youโd like us to know about your health + wellness journey? ๐ฌ I came into my new workout routine expecting that my body would change and I would feel better physically. That is true, but the biggest change I notice is in my perspective and sense of purpose. I feel grounded, which is especially important when things happening in the world are so scary.
