Hey Everyone,

Coach Lynette here and I want to share a little personal story with you all, especially for anyone whoโ€™s ever felt frustrated when their strength seems to disappear for a little while.

๐ฟ๐‘Ž๐‘ ๐‘ก ๐‘ค๐‘’๐‘’๐‘˜, ๐ผ ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘‘๐‘›โ€™๐‘ก ๐‘“๐‘’๐‘’๐‘™ ๐‘ ๐‘ก๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘”.I went into my training sessions thinking I would crush the same lifts I had handled the week before โ€” but instead, every rep felt heavier.

๐ˆ ๐’๐“๐‘๐”๐†๐†๐‹๐„๐ƒ.The weight that had moved so easily just days earlier now felt impossible.

In the past, I mightโ€™ve torn myself down for it.

I might've called myself ๐‘ค๐‘’๐‘Ž๐‘˜, ๐‘™๐‘Ž๐‘ง๐‘ฆ, or ๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘ก ๐‘”๐‘œ๐‘œ๐‘‘ ๐‘’๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘”โ„Ž.

But this time, I paused. I listened to my body.
I noticed I was waking up groggy, dragging even after a full night's sleep, and feeling like I was moving through quicksand.

Then it clicked: I was deep in my luteal phase โ€” the second half of my menstrual cycle when fatigue, soreness, and slower recovery are completely normal.

๐Œ๐ฒ ๐›๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฆ๐ž. ๐’๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ž. And this time, I chose grace over judgment. We are not going to be She-Hulk every day of the week.

Strength looks different at different times.

Progress is not a straight line.
