Hey Everyone,
Coach Lynette here and I want to share a little personal story with you all, especially for anyone whoโs ever felt frustrated when their strength seems to disappear for a little while.
๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ก ๐ค๐๐๐, ๐ผ ๐๐๐๐โ๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ก๐๐๐๐.I went into my training sessions thinking I would crush the same lifts I had handled the week before โ but instead, every rep felt heavier.
๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.The weight that had moved so easily just days earlier now felt impossible.
In the past, I mightโve torn myself down for it.
I might've called myself ๐ค๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ง๐ฆ, or ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐โ.
But this time, I paused. I listened to my body. I noticed I was waking up groggy, dragging even after a full night's sleep, and feeling like I was moving through quicksand. โ Then it clicked: I was deep in my luteal phase โ the second half of my menstrual cycle when fatigue, soreness, and slower recovery are completely normal. โ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐งโ๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐. ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐. And this time, I chose grace over judgment. I honored her message.๐ฐ ๐๐
