I used to love playing the guitar and banjo ๐ถ. It wasnโt just something I didโit was part of me. But somewhere along the way, life got busy, and playing music became one of those things I wanted to do, but didnโt. Sound familiar? ๐ค This morning, walking into Walgreens ๐ช, it hit me: Iโm no different from the people who want to work out but never do. They tell themselves theyโll start next week ๐ . That they need to find the right program ๐. That theyโll do it when things slow down โณ. Meanwhile, the weeks slip by, and theyโre stuck in the same placeโjust like me with my guitar. The Problem: Not Making Time โฐI can say I want to get better at music all day long, but if Iโm not making time for it, itโs just a wish, not a plan. The same goes for fitness ๐๐พโโ๏ธ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ผ. The truth? If something really matters to you, you have to put it on the calendar. Not just think about it, but schedule itโjust like an appointment you wouldnโt cancel โ๐พ. Clarifying My Why ๐ฏI started playing because I loved it โค๏ธ. And I know that if I never pick it up again, Iโll regret it. I donโt want to be the person who used to play music. For people struggling to work out, the โwhyโ matters too. Maybe itโs about feeling strong ๐ช๐ฝ, keeping up with your kids ๐๐พโโ๏ธ, or proving to yourself that midlife doesnโt mean decline.
