New BroadcastA quick update from me…☺️ and here’s a little support for your week

Hey there, Reader

t’s been a little while since I’ve popped into your inbox, and I wanted to share what I’ve been up to behind the scenes.

As you mighyt know, I’ve stepped into a new leadership role at Ascent in New Haven as the Head Strength Coach and Director of Strength Programming.

It has been an energizing season of service and creativity, and it has really pushed me to a more effective coach, and community leader. I love the members and team here, and I really do love going to work everyday!

As for Mountain View Wellness, I am still very passionate about helping women have more energy, more confidence, more strength, and more control over how they feel in their bodies — not just during the “good seasons,” but in real life, with real challenges.

While you haven’t seen as many blog posts from me lately, I have been writing, planning, and shaping the next chapter of MVW.

Where We're Headed

Mountain View Wellness will continue to be a space for fitness, wellness, inspiration, and practical lifestyle change.
Going forward, you’ll see more blogs that focus on exactly that: practical, sustainable ways to build a lifestyle you love — one that supports your health, your energy, and the life you’re dreaming of. Think small steps, meaningful habits, and tools that women over 40 can use every single day.

MVW will remain a virtual online space for now — a home for education, coaching, and women’s lifestyle transformation.
But if you’d like to train with me in person, my home base is Ascent Climbing Gym in New Haven. You can learn more about our coaching program here:

A Look Ahead: 2026 Retreats

In 2026, I’ll be stepping into a dream I’ve held onto for years:
Women’s Wellness Retreats.

These will be nourishing, restorative weekends designed to help women reconnect with their strength, their bodies, and their purpose. Potential destinations currently on my list include:

  • Puerto Rico
  • New England
  • New Mexico
  • California

More details to come — but this is going to be something truly special.

Why I'm Writing Today

With the holidays in full swing, this is the time of year when many women feel stretched thin. Our stress buckets fill quickly — family, work, expectations, and even the pressure to “stay on track.”
It’s the season when our own needs tend to slip to the bottom of the list.

That’s why my newest blog focuses on how to stay grounded, focused, and steady during busy seasons, and how to keep your stress from overflowing. It’s practical, compassionate, and timely — exactly the direction MVW is moving toward.

I hope it gives you permission to slow down, breathe, and choose what actually matters to you — not what’s expected of you.

More to come soon. I’m grateful you’re here.

With strength and heart,
Coach Julie

PS As always, feel free to shoot me a message letting me know how you are doing. What are you excited about ? Struggling with? Where do you want to go on a retreat with me? What do you want to do?
